As the school year comes to a close, this will also be the last of our posts on this blog We would like to give a big thank you to everyone out there who has showed immense support for this project. Since the beginning of this year, we wanted to share with people our culture and what makes us so unique. From big events like our own New Year’s celebration to small traditions like taking off our shoes in the house, all these things are what makes us. us. As we wrap up Asian American Heritage Month, I would like to say that this month was very special to us as we recognize all of the amazing things Asian Americans have done. Many of our role models now have a time during the year to be recognized and that means a lot as there are not many Asian American role models for us to look up to.

The blog was not just for us to have a voice in the Asian American community but it was also for us to let our creative thoughts come to life. As yappies, we don’t necessarily get the chances to do projects like this and have to spend most of our time with school work, working towards a stable and what others would call “safe” career path. While those things are good, it really limits the potential of some great ideas that may come to mind (it is also a great stress reliever). So thank you again to everyone who has given us positive feedback to also to those who have given us suggestions. We really do appreciate that there are some people out there that like our content. If there is anyone out there that is facing any identity or representation issues let us know, we would be happy to talk.

More projects to come in the future, so stay tuned!
