Meal or No Meal?

I would say that Asian people especially if they are from the actual countries are pretty big into food and I don't mean millennial foodies where they take a million photos of their cup of water to put on their instagram, but I am talking about fear factor foodies. People from Asian countries are crazy with what they eat. From eating duck embryos to just chilling with a bowl of pho, the palette of an Asian is huge. My parents encouraged me to try new foods because there may be exotic dishes where I may actually enjoy. Along with that fear factor mentality, it also came with trying to finish our plate no matter if the food was nasty or not since in some countries, people would have killed for some duck embryo. As an American however, I would see how eating that type of delicacy here in the US would have landed you on the front cover of PETA’s hit list. Food in Asia can be an art and many people can learn to enjoy the culture, but for Asian asian people, food is just a survival necessity for many people. Eating whatever was around was the thing back then and it still applies today, but the secret art of turning bugs into something that anyone can actually enjoy is truly impressive.
